Fundraising

As a local business Walters Supa IGA Gordonvale is committed to assisting our community by providing funds and fundraising opportunities to worthwhile causes. Our local Community Chest program donates thousands or dollars back to local not for profit and charitable organisations.

The program works on a token system, where for every $20 spent, customers are given a token where they can then choose the beneficiary they wish to support from our token board and drop the token into that organisations ‘token box’.

These are totaled every week or so and donated back to the orgniastion six monthly or yearly, often these add up to many hundreds or thousands of dollars!
